REA License reciprocity with Louisiana?

Hey there everyone! I’m looking at taking the Louisiana Real Estate Agent course and exam within the next month. I currently live in St. Tammany Parish and don’t intend to actually sell real estate full-time, just getting a license for education and access as an investor. I am originally from MS and would love to invest in my home state (gulf coast area). Does anyone recommend getting an MS license as well? Louisiana offers reciprocity for the MS license, but it appears that MS changes their reciprocity frequently enough that you have to call the RE Commission to find out what’s current. Does that matter if your original license (Louisiana in my case) observes reciprocity? Further, would I need to work for a real estate broker in both states? I’m fairly new to all of this information and the intricacies of the rules and regulations. Any info or insight would be greatly appreciated. I am interested in being as educated as I can regarding real estate and I know that Louisiana always has to be different when it comes to any sort of legal process. I just don’t want to waste money or do something I didn’t need to do (I.e. take multiple real estate courses for multiple states, etc) if I don’t have to. Thanks in advance for any insight! Lindsay
