What part of Louisiana are you looking to do a deal in? I am a local REIA owner and can try to help direct you towards an attorney.

Hey everyone, I actively invest and wholesale in the St. tammany parish area which is on the northshore of New Orleans, Louisiana. Always looking to connect with those that currently invest/wholesale, want to invest/wholesale or even those that provide services related to real estate in the area. I also head up a local real estate REIA for the northshore area. I'd love to work with others on wholesale deals in the area. Feel free to reach out if you're active or looking to start in the Slidell, Pearl River, Covington, Mandeville, Madisonville, Lacombe areas or even if you're in the surrounding areas to New Orleans or the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Looking forward to connecting!

@Travis Billings Feel free to shoot me a message about wholesaling.

Whew! Sorry for all of the errors in my message up there. I must have been typing that when I was tired. Glad that y'all got the jist of it!

Hey Travis, welcome to REI in SELA. I live on the Northshore area and run a REIA there. Would suggest joining a local one or your welcome to visit ours. It'll be a great networking opportunity as well as an educational period. I have done a few deals myself (2 flips - one of which is a live in flip) but also a handful of wholesale deals. I see that you're looking to partner with a local broker. Is it just to build your buyers list? Will you be using him to help figure ARVs? Also, I would start building your own buyer's list but definitely get wait to get started. Even if it's just D4$ then sending mail or calling those home owners. Know who the big wholesalers are in your area. They can be someone you can call if you have a contract and need a buyer. Co-wholesaling can be a good thing. Keep learning. Best education and instruction is when you start doing. Some of the main things needed are: easy to use but good contracts and a good title company to do the transaction. From there, just try to be conservative on your numbers and get good solid deals in areas where people want to buy. Best of luck!

Hi @Theo Oster, I'm not as seasoned of a flipper as I'd like to be but I do run a local group in the area full of investors who are more seasoned than I am. I'll send you a message to connect.

Welcome aboard, y'all! I am a local investor in the St. Tammany parish area. As the founder of a local REIA, I would recommend joining the ones in the BR area if you haven't already. I started one for the Northshore of New Orleans because I had found the meetings to be very helpful when I did drive the distance to attend one. I know Richard McCray has one called RING that meets monthly. Great place to network with likeminded people, learn about local deals and to learn more about different topics and strategies in Real Estate.

Best of luck on your next ventures, everyone! Let me know if I can help in any way.
