Quote from @Bruce Woodruff:

@Jeffrey Schratz Have you tried to compile your own information by spending the time to go on the various platforms and gathering the data yourself? It will of course be much more specific and accurate to your needs.

@Bruce Woodruff Where does one find public, free data from Airbnb rental lisitngs?

@Dan Call Reach out to @Elizabeth Nourse, she owns rental properties, and several of the Customer Realty agents are strictly investors that hang her license with her firm.

@Amiris Brown I didnt read the entire thread, but I'll give my 2 cents... As a REALTOR you will not be an employee, so if that is one of your major pros you may want to reconsider the value. A REALTOR in almost all cases is an independent contractor, and therefore not given a salary, benefits, or required office hours. Yes, you can generate the income you need to pay off your student loans, but it won't be from being employed.

I have met REALTORs that wholesale as well, it can be done, and you seem to understand the ethical obligations so I have no doubt you will act ethically.

It comes down to your goals. What are you looking to accomplish in real estate? How far do you want to take this? I came to the realization that for my own goals and plans, getting my real estate license was the best choice for me. What is right for you?

Adam Conole welcome to the site. Awesome initiative by going to meet-ups and offering value. I would say to think about what your goals are in real estate, and then set yourself up to work towards them. Birddogging can have potential, but are you really learning as much as you can for the time and money you will e investing? It's something to think about. I am a firm believer in offering value to receive value, so I make sure my time is well spent on activities that allow me to learn. Best of luck!

Welcome to the site Michael Nicholas what are you looking to do with the single families, buy and hold? There are plenty of good networking events in Nova, I highly recommend attending as many as you can to network and learn about deals.

Interested in hearing more about what he talks about.
