I had to travel up to New Jersey before my tenants moved in anyway, so I just deposited their check in my NJ bank in a tenant account.

Hi everyone, I have a question about where to deposit my tenant's security deposit. The house is in New Jersey, but I am in Florida. Can I deposit it in my local bank in Florida, or do I need to use a bank that has branches in both states? Thank you all in advance, I have learned so much from these forums! Cathy

It is not listed, I sent a letter that the owner responded to.

I am going to make an offer on a lot adjacent to my home in Florida. What is the first thing I need to do once my offer is accepted? I know I don't need an attorney, but will the title company take care of everything? I am not using a real estate agent, I just want a simple transaction.
