@Joey Piha  I need to update my profile LOL  I purchased my 1st investment property in New Castle back in October 2018.  This coming May, my tenant would be there for 2 years.  Thankfully she's still gainfully employed so she has not skipped a beat with her payments during Covid :)

I'm looking into buying MF properties in the city and am interested in buildings 2-20 units.  I've been working with a mentor who invests all over the US and I'm hoping to add to my portfolio in a major way this coming year!!!

Looking forward to helping you in any way that I can so if you have any questions, feel free to ask here or on FB.

Take care ... Cassandra

@Benjamin Jones I would probably use a variety of funding sources ... banks, personal and business credit cards and lines of credit, hard moneny lenders, private lenders / credit partners.

@David Zickafoose I apologize as I'm just seeing your post. I only have one property and I found that off the MLS. I've been trying my hand at cold calling absentee owners. Haven't gotten anything off market as of yet, but I'm working on a few deals.

Hi @Tamirah J. I'm in DE and invest here locally.  I second what @Account Closed are saying.  The DELREIA FB page has a lot of investors that you can network with. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out.  Well wishes!!!

Hi @Basit Siddiqi Thank you for your response! I'm a REI and have one property under my belt. Maybe my question wasn't clear. The LLC I wish to register is only a holding company for the private investor money that I plan to receive. I'm in DE and registered a series LLC for my properties.

Heeeeyyyy BP! I was listening to a mastermind about tips on finding private investors. The speaker advised registering a holding company for the funds they invest with you. I'm in DE and the state requires an annual tax of $300 to keep the entity in good standing. (I know I'd also need a registered agent). I was thinking of registering the LLC in PA as it's just over the line so I can set up a bank account easily and the state doesn't require an annual fee for the LLC. The properties I'm looking to invest in are currently in DE, but I do want to eventually start investing OOS. Are there any legal issues to registering OOS vs in the state of DE for the LLC? I just don't want to get jammed up to save myself $300 and it turns out to be a bigger headache...

Thank you for your thoughts... Cassandra
