If they did not give you a 30-day notice in writing you can keep the deposit. Did you collect a pet deposit from them? If you collected a fee each month for having the pet, you cannot hold their rent deposit for the flea issue.

You might try supermarkets in your area to put your sign most of the stores have a message board for people to hang flyers.

I see flyers in restaurants that I visit here in Dallas I don't think the restaurant charge anything to leave flyers at the counter.
