The bank still can call the note due unless you got permission from the bank in writing that the seller is doing a subject2 and when you change insurance, the insurance company will send an update to the lender, and the original borrower will stay on the loan until it is paid.

@Mike Sattem

You might want to step back and not try to sway the appraisal because they know their job, and if you don't like the outcome dispute it, and some lenders will back away when a borrower suggests anything. Just be on the safe side and get it refinance.

If the investors by chance get rid of the real estate agents like they are trying to do I like to see title and escrow triple their fees on investors when they buy and the reason I say that the investors will be selling for top dollar so pay a top dollar for title and escrow service, I am sure investors will agree.

Was this appraiser one you hired or one hired by the lender who will refinance?

Here in Dallas, a lot of people still read the newspaper and ads in them because the Internet is full of scams, and no one trust what is on the Internet.

@Greg Hall

You are correct. A cease and desist is a good place to start.

Just put an alert on your credit files, and you will know when someone pulls your credit report, but if they pull credit header data, you will not get an alert on that. Wish you the best on this.

@Sam Singh

Like I said in my last post all a skip tracer need is your name, city, state, and phone number, and they can get a 20-year history on you. Just remember data is for sale and every large business sell consumer data every day, and I know this for a fact I have been buying consumer data over 20 years from business you would say they will never sell data but they do.
