@Sam DebThe Bay Area is booming right now, was just in a bidding war and with purchase price $50k over listing! But, like any other town, there are parts that aren't so hot like central city around where they are building the new Harbor bridge. That area is mostly industrial with older homes just a few blocks from refineries. Flour Bluff, which is a peninsula in Corpus Christi that you pass through on your way to Padre Island, is doing well as there are new builds going up with some waterfront facing Oso Creek. It all depends on what it is that you are looking to invest in, if you have any questions feel free to contact me!

I missed the meet up! Was in Port A all day that Sunday, it's awesome to see Corpus Christi getting on the map on Bigger Pockets. The market is moving very fast and houses are barely lasting a week(if priced right) on the market let alone off market!

@Emily Jones the STR in Corpus Christi, where they are allowed here, do really well if you can get it at the right price!

I don't foresee North Beach becoming a thing unless developers dump some of their own money in to it as the blinders that the economic affect it's going to have on the citizens are being lifted. I do agree that Corpus is a good place to invest in so long as, like with all investments, you get in at a good price. @Stone Saathoffwhich apartment complex are you referring too?
