I have a vacant residential lot that I'm holding onto in Kalamazoo. I looked into building costs and the numbers were laughable. I plan to just see if the values go up.

I believe the point is if you invest your high income right in RE while getting  this higher paycheck. It wouldn't be anywhere close to 40 years that you'd be working as an engineer.

Are you guys or approved for a loan? Most buyers agents wont bother spending much time with people who take up a bunch of time but may not even be able to buy when a deal pops up.

Where in Rancho? I'm from there. It may be best to hold as rental. Rancho continues to influx and grow. I'd wait.

3 options:

1. Respond to the city to see what needs to be done in order to get legit.

2. Delete Airbnb and cancel the the bookings. Rent the house as a standard rental. Do not lease the studio since it was never approved "housing".

3. Sell.

Evaluate options 1 and 2 first thoroughly before choosing option 3.

As a property manager of an apartment complex, and also an owner of a rental which is now out of state, I choose to self manage if possible and delegate as necessary. However, that involves establishing a network of trustworthy, reliable people in the location you'll be investing.

Maybe take a trip and network through Bigger pockets and go set up meetings with specific people you'll need to have to self manage out of state.

Because of the need I saw in the market with a select group of real estate professionals, I launched a business recently for their specific, yet smaller daily tasks.

It's law for sure in CA to disclose.

I'd rather focus my time on other things. For simple fixes, if you're close by and can do it quickly and safely, why not? Anything else though may not be worth your time or potential liability.

True freedom is freedom of time, so if you can automate most parts of your business, then you're golden.
