Hi everyone!
The property is in a "B1" zoning area and I plan on taking all your great ideas to mom this weekend. On the flip side, I kind of have a sneaky suspicion that 90% of her problem is marketing. I'll tell you that the property is located in a small border town called Eagle Pass, Texas with no more than 35 thousand people. [434 Ryan Street, Eagle Pass Texas]
Its location (in my opinion) is in an excellent spot known for weekend flea market activity and sits right across from a well-known local park; however, weekday vehicle and foot traffic is essentially non-existent.
As far as the flea market goes she's been running into huge problems with vendors remaining loyal to their current flea market.
She's even talked about installing a boxing ring and hiring a promoter to bring in weekly fighters from across the border but again I feel like she's just terrible at reaching customers!
Again, thank you for all the suggestions.
-Sincerely,
Carlos

Dear Bigger Pockets,
My mom needs your HELP! I'm looking for ideas on what she should do with her 20,000 sqft piece of semi-outdoor property. It's original intended use was a flea market but that hasn't managed to gain any traction for over a year. The next idea was to get a liquor license and open up for dances. Unfortunately, that too failed miserably! I was thinking of turning it into a large skating ring or putt-putt area but I'm running out of ideas fast so now I'm reaching out to the BP member brains. Oh and to make matters worse, the entire complex is in a flood zone! We're talking 10-15 feet of water when a good storm goes by... Anywho, any advice or ideas would be extremely helpful. Please take a look at the photos and let me know what you think, thank you!

I've finally found something that might resonate well with my 7 year old daughter; aside from reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad to her every night :) This cartoon network clip is a must!
What small steps are you taking to teach your children about real estate?

Thank you everyone for your replies! I like to think I'm pretty savy when it comes to scouring the internet for free information and kind of figured I would get these responses. Again, thanks a bunch!

Hi! This may sound like a really dumb question but is there a place where someone would be able to view all homes that are owned free & clear? The closest I can get to what I'm looking for is through my city's appraisal district website but even that doesn't show what's still owed on a property. Also, I've been on BP for about 2 days strong so please forgive me if I'm violating any protocols...
Thanks and I hope to hear from the masses soon!
