Hey @Ali Dawood, based on what I've heard other successful flippers do, from the Podcast.  It sounds like what you need is a project manager or a partner.  Someone who is paid based on the success of the flip.

Hey @Ashley Cote welcome to BP!  I would recommend reading the Ultimate Beginners Guide and Brandon's book on investing in real estate with low and no money down.  Also just listening to the podcast has taught me a lot.  I would start with episode one and listen to all two hundred.  It will take a while but the knowledge gained will be worth it.

Hey @Preston Bahrik welcome to BP!  A good place to start would be to read the Ultimate Beginners Guide.  The podcast's has been an amazing learning tool for me.  I listen to it in the car and during lunch at work.

Hey @Saranda Sumerlin Wholesaling is not illegal in Alabama, however, verbiage can get you trouble. I would recommend talking to knowledgeable lawyer that is also an investor. Also checking out the next AlAREIA meeting in Birmingham. If your wanting to create an LLC, I would pay an attorney who understands asset protection in the long run it's worth the money. For more info on asset protection listen to BP Podcast 109.

Welcome to BP Michael Bean! If I where you I would talk to my local banks. Find out what type of loan they're looking for and get pre-approved. So you know what you can afford and congratulations!

Welcome to BP @Hayden Freeman!  AlAREIA is a good local real estate investor group.  The leader of the group @Brian Trippe is an experienced investor.  Or if your ever in the Huntsville area MCREIA is another good group.

During the day I'm a Software Engineer, I show up to work at 7am. I take breaks at 8:30am and 2pm CT to trade Options. During my drive to and from work I listen to the BP podcast as well as during my lunch break. I'm not a successful REI, but I will be one day.

Welcome to BP @Jake Roland!  Start with the duplex, it's less risky then flipping and easier than wholesaling.
