@Cameron Hueston - You can find some of them here under Networking Events and plug in your zip code and it'll list some. I've also setup keywords to notify me of any local meetups that comes up here on BP. There's other websites you can look into as well, but I'm not sure what i can post here, so PM me if you want more details. I'll gladly share what I know of.

HI @Tony Johnson, there are a lot of eager newbies out there that are probably more than willing to help out if you take a little time to show them. Perhaps you can take some time to show them how to do what you need and if you do get something out of it, maybe give them a little something. It could potentially build a good partnership.

Welcome to BP @Cesar M.

I'm also interested in multi-family. I think that any opportunities you get to learn anything about REI and help you take action is going to be beneficial in your long-term goals. So best of luck with that single family and hope it will springboard you into bigger and better things.

Welcome @Alexander Timberlake

Way to house hack! It's a great start to real estate investing.

There's a lot of local meetups around town. All depends on what works with your schedule and what area of town you're in. There's one coming up this Tuesday over at City Center where you can meet with several different groups at once.

Best of luck to you.

@Dennis Rodriguez Congrats and best of luck moving forward.

Hi Oscar,

I would suggest going to local meetups around town. You'll likely meet private lenders there or meet someone that knows someone that's looking to be a private lender.

Hi Shaun, I would like to attend your next meeting. Where do I sign up?

Welcome to BP @Colton Cook

Sounds like you have a well thought out plan and already starting taking action. That's very important.

There's a lot of very useful information here. I've personally learned a lot from the podcasts and reading through the forums. And everyone here is very responsive if you have any questions as well. Don't be shy to post, I know I was at the beginning.

I want to wish you best of luck and don't hesitate to reach out. I'm still learning myself, but am always willing to share any knowledge I may have.

@Michael Batts, there's a local meetup that take place every month at Pub Fiction in midtown. You should try to make it out sometimes and meet local investors. I started going there only 3 months ago and have met a lot of good folks. Save your $10-30k for gurus and put that into your first deal.
