Welcome @jeffery rollon! Salamat po for your service to our country! I also live in sunny so cal so we should definitely stay in touch! Btw you should check out Reggie Lal. He does weekly REIA meetings in SD. Pretty good too. He's mostly into flipping but they talk about everything.

Hi Sam. Welcome to BP! I also hail from the Los Angeles area. So far I'm into buy and holds but now I'm going in the other direction. I'm trying to figure out a way to generate capital to purchase more buy and holds. I was able to purchase the others using money saved up from my 9-5. I had a family and my ability to save like that has decreased quite a bit. I reccomend checking out the ultimate beginners guide by BP to help guide you in finding your niche. I've yet to figure out which one I'm going to focus on!
