Thank you Nikki, it’s been a long process since this post. I would like to keep in contact with you, if I have any additional questions.

Post: Bank/REO Property no interior access

I am looking to put an offer on a property, however there are no interior pictures available only a drive by is permissible as stated by the bank. I was thinking of calling the bank myself directly and asking for information on the property. Asking questions on whether there has been extensive damage ie fire, water, etc., does the property have working electric or water, or how long has it been vacant or is it inhabitable?  Just rattling off a few questions that come to mind. Has anybody gone that route before when trying to get more information or details of a property with no pictures prior to submitting an offer?

Any advice would be helpful.

@Quincy Lockett @Sarah Lewis

Thank you for the feedback. I know nobody would scout for free. I have paid every scout that I’ve worked with. Just wanted to know how I could recruit more scouts to work with me.

Good Evening All,

I am an out of state investor looking to buy my first property in Chicago. I have my team established and I’m ready to pull the trigger. The only obstacle I am facing is seeing enough properties and the surrounding neighborhoods. Is there anybody out there, local, have time to drive around certain properties, and provide video of the property and neighborhood? Could anyone provide advice on how to overcome that growing pain of being an out of state investor and wanting to view as many properties as possible other than pictures?

Thanks

@Jay B. The advice provided was well said. What contractor did your rehab? I am always looking for contractor referrals in the Chicago area. Good luck on the refinance

@Nathan Mount

You’re able to walk through a property physically in Chicago? Or a virtual tour?

@Bernard Laureus I would like to invest in my current area (DMV), however it is a little pricey to get started. My plan is to start in Chicago, then make my way back to my local area.
