Welcome @Buck Seymour! My number one piece of advice is to load up a podcast app on your phone and starting listening to the BP podcast from episode one to the current while you are driving or whenever you have time.  Best thing I ever did.

I am closing on a duplex in Brooklawn, New Jersey on February 22nd.  Can anyone recommend a painter?  I received a quote for $1800 for both units.  Seems steep to me.

Congrats! In which town are you buying?  I would suggest hiring a NJ attorney to draft a lease for you.  It is worth the investment to pay for an attorney to draft your first lease and then you can use that as a template going forward.

@Blair Poelman So you give them something along the lines of a script with "if the caller says this, you say that"?  I have a script that I pulled from one of Michael Quarles threads that I could try to craft into a policies and procedures manual.  Do you have any names of the call centers you have used?

@Blair Poelman Are you utilizing ODesk? Or are you contracting with these call centers directly? How do you go about training a VA? Video chat?
