Yes, indeed. Read this thread and people will EVENTUALLY say/write what they really mean.

For example, some might conclude from your above quote that you are implying that people are so critical of Obama because OF HIS RACE. This is not true and is not original. In fact, I have black people not just insinuate this, but come right out and say it. Left leaning media outlets play this up quite a bit as well.

So some white guy runs outside in a drunken rage using the "N" word. What conclusions can you really make from that?

Tom, please let me be clear, some people are critical of Obama because of his race. Some are not. I believe that some people just don't like his policy and it has nothing to do with race. I like some and don't like some.

The neighbor of mine who was drunk on his porch acting a fool was in a discussion with another group of neighbors on the subject of politics - he lost all civility. It seemed for a minute that this thread was headed that way. Let's see.

So let me ask you a simple question that maybe you can explain to me. What leadership, management and full responsibility experience does Obama have that would qualify him to be president of the United States? Freshmen Senator from Illinois? Nope! State Representative? Nope! Community Organizer? Nope! Maybe his ties to terrorist Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn qualify him? How about his 20 years under Jeremiah Wright? Maybe the fact his wife is FINALLY proud to be an American? The guy is a bumbling fool, a complete idiot, and a total embarrassment to our country and to himself.

RELAX??? I can't relax while "ROME BURNS." Maybe you want to take out your fiddle and play a fun tune, but not me. We are in this together, like everyone was together on the sinking Titanic. Maybe we should have the band play to help us relax?

Mike M - None of my posts are meant to explain anything to you. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expected different results. I would have to be insane to try to convince you that Obama is the answer. Furthermore, I don't believe that is the case. I think that he was better than the alternative. Try not to give yourself a heart attach...then again.

Rich,

I've read some of your posts as they relate to real estate and you really seem to know what you are talking about. I don't know real estate like that which is why I track the posts of people who seem to give really good advice. I then go study on my own. What I do for a living and what I am very good at is research, dissecting data, and explaining data in layman's terms (don't want to be too specific). I read a great deal of data and break it down to people with degrees higher than my own at times. I find flaws in all types of info published in reputable journals. It happens.

Have you considered that maybe some of the information you are getting is not completely true. I'm just saying. These people aren't stupid - even Michele Culkin, as much as I may not like their preying on fears or divisive ways. These people don't care about you no more than they care about me. They know there is money to be made off the frustration that everyone is feeling. They pounce - call up the ghost writers it's time to get paid, fake bibliography and all. Whose going to fact check them? If anyone does they are liberals. I wouldn't even waste my time highlighting the out and out lies and contradictions spouted by these two. If you don't know then you don't know.

I used to watch Faux news every morning when it was normal. I don't know when it changed but it did.

I read another post by you where you had trouble linking your article. You asked someone to help an old man out. That made me LOL - not teasing but I think you meant to be funny. I'm not that computer saavy myself so I get it. The point is one way to keep your brain functioning properly is to argue a position that is different than your own. You should read the info that J Scott sent to you.

And Mike M - relax brother or like my Dad would say, relax jack. We're in this together.

I agree 100%. Not so much that you have to have a degree but really it comes down to taking action. At this point I am doing networking events, reading, setting up my business and continuing to build capital. However, I know that if I don't pull the trigger at some point it may be all for naught.

Good luck to all

Rich,

Just to be clear, I am an Independent and I really try to see both parties for what they are. As far as disputing Glenn Beck's facts - I'm not entirely clear that he uses factual information. He was on the The View one time and said that sometimes he doesn't even fact check or research his own stories/reports because he's just a commentator not a serious journalist/reporter. Of course we knew that.

I get the message, too much deficit spending, unemployment is up - way up, illegal immigration is an issue that needs to be addressed on a national issue, people lack healthcare and are dying as a result of late entry to care, the dollar is crap and we keep pouring money into wars that we will never win. I get it.

What I wonder is why all this misplaced anger towards one man? That I don't get. I mean recently one of my neighbors was outside screaming (drunk) about how n#ggers are taking over. Personally I hope he does get re-elected so I can see just what he's made of.

You must hate our country.

That a matter of perspective. I completely disagree with notion that if you support Obama, you hate your country.... and as for the President's #1 Job is to get re-elected, name one president who's job was different... :)

I agree wholeheartedly Ed. I think it's sad that we've gotten to the point where we can not support who we like without being accused of hating the U.S.

I am tired of uneducated, out of work, no clue having people blaming government for their woes.

I am also tired of those who kept their heads in the sand and mouths closed while the house of cards was being built now spewing their ignorance on every message board known to man. Now, you're the expert on our financial history getting your talking points from Glen Beck or Rachel Maddow...seriously.

Hi Larry,

I see you will be in Philadelphia at the Pyramid Club in Oct. I'll try to make it. I don't know a single thing about your course but I like hearing different ideas and success stories.

All the best

How can one really take sides? Like Bryan said both sides are bought and paid for by special interest groups.

Great thread. I think many people come into to this with no money, job, or credit because they've heard that you can buy for zero down and make tons of money.

Tracy, I understand what you're saying and it makes sense that by wholesaling you are essentially doing a zero down deal. What about the rehab flip? The only way I can see myself putting zero down is by using OPM - and I don't know people like that...yet.
