Where do you stand left versus right

Just a poll people. Curious how other RE investors view the political landscape.

Are you left or right?

I'm on the right. Though I think the next election could go independent

Cheers,
Mark

Like Vikram, I'm pretty sure I don't fit neatly onto the spectrum...

Socially, I'm far left. I believe everyone has the right to their lifestyle so long as it doesn't impede on another's rights.

Economically, I'm far right (with the one exception below). While I'm fine with the government collecting taxes, they should collect as little as possible to offer the protections granted under the Constitution.

When it comes to the children in this country, I'm a socialist. I believe our children come first (they are our future, of course :), and I'm all for the government spending as much of my tax dollars as necessary to ensure that every child in this country has access to health care and a great education.

And I'm all for government staying out of our personal lives, though I have no idea if this puts me on the left or the right? (For example, I've never used drugs, but I'm all for legalizing them. Seems like a conservative belief, but most conservatives disagree. Not sure why that is...)

I'm embarrassed to affiliate with liberals, because a handful of them make the whole group look bad. And I'm embarrassed to affiliate with conservatives because a handful of them make the whole group look bad.

In general, I'm embarrassed by our entire government these days...
