Come hear the inspiring story of how Raul Luna battles back from Chapter 7 bankruptcy to a 7-figure income and how you can apply it to your own financial independence journey. You're guaranteed to leave this session motivated and fired up.

What you'll learn:
- How to get started in real estate
- What's a winning mindset looks like
- How to find deals
- How to structure deals where both parties win

As always, bring your deals to pitch during our "Ask & Wants" or if you're looking for partners.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raul was born into the food industry where he started working at a very young age at his family restaurant. He decided to follow the family's path by opening his very 1st restaurant at age 18 and soon realized that food was not his passion and the agent that sold his restaurant helped Raul to get into real estate industry! It was at the age of 19 when he purchased his 1st property subject to and started helping home owners who had their properties on the market for a long time by buying them at a discount with seller financing.

-Founded 4 Restaurants & sold them successfully
-Founder of Ricolife a Direct Selling company that was sold to a publicly traded company and created residual for life!
-Founder of Properties180, LLC
-Founder of Level Up Now Academy

For a bit over a decade Raul feels like he was just playing in real estate (no systems) until he started with Fortune Builders, a world class real estate education system that has allowed him, coupled with developing the right successful mindset to now have a system to buy 5 properties every month and decided to start Properties 180 to enhance communities and peoples lives 180 degrees at a time by helping get distressed owners out of their situation.

Thank you!!

How to Plan Your Year for Success as a New Real Estate Investor

Discussion Topics:

Come learn how two of the Bay's newest investors created their roadmap for success to make 2019 the year it all became real, and how to make 2020 YOUR year.

Topics that will be discussed include:
How to plan for the year while making sure you know what to do today
What marketing techniques worked for them, and what didn't
Sharpening your skills, and figuring out what skills to sharpen
Finding the motivation to keep going until it sticks
How to establish and foster the relationships that will help you succeed
Open Q&A

Speaker Bios:
Ted Manahan is a full-time real estate investor who is using his project management and engineering backgrounds to build a better business so he can find and create some of the best deals in the bay. He grew up in the Midwest, and has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies in the automotive and Solar industries, including Toyota, GE, NRG.

Having a passion for growth and knowledge, and a strong independent spirit, RE investing called to him when he finally realized that he was never going to be happy working for others. So, he started sharpening his people skills and going to REI Meetups. He quit the corporate world to work for himself full-time in May 2017, then founded Intentional Property Solutions LLC the following year.

It didn't take long for him to realize that doing this business for real was going to require his best, and that his best came out when he collaborated with like-minded people where relationships were built on shared values and mutual respect.

Jason has been a full-time RE investor since 2017. He has had an entrepreneur mindset and has worked towards financial independence from a young age. Jason believes that he developed this fixation after observing both the freedom that came with entrepreneurship and the challenges that a lack of money brings.

After studying mechanical engineering and before getting into real estate, he worked as a professional software developer and also collaborated as a co-founder on two tech startup projects, thinking that was the best path to reach his goals. After a number of years and not making much progress, a long-time real estate investor friend turned Jason on to flipping and wholesaling.

Jason got started door knocking on pre-foreclosures in 2017 and has since continued to build his skills and business. It occurred to him early on that he could use his technical background as a competitive advantage in the real estate world and plans to continue to incorporate software to scale and automate his business.
