Millennial Dollar Listing: Real Estate Investing with Bay Area's Youngest Broker @Houston Garcia

Graduating from Santa Clara University in 2015, Houston obtained his salespersons license. With a family background in construction, working in the realm of real estate investing was a natural niche.

At the age of 21, Houston sold his first listing (which was over $2m). At the age of 25, he obtained his broker’s license, becoming the youngest real estate broker associate in the SF Bay Area.

In the fast-paced world of real estate investing, relationships are key - which is why Houston regularly collaborates on hosting events, workshops, and casual meetups as a platform for investors to connect, share their experiences, and learn from each other.

Description: Listen firsthand from the youngest real estate broker in the Bay Area on his local real estate investing experiences.

At this event, Houston will share his experiences on investing in the Bay Area:

Why investing in your own backyard makes financial sense.
Where and how to find the best value-add deals in the Bay Area.
How to finance and structure your deals.
Case studies of various projects: Fix-and-flips, buy-and-hold, and owner-occupied investment properties.
Current trends and future forecast on local Bay Area real estate markets.

Start the weekend off right! Join @Houston Garcia and I for our monthly coffee meeting at Sightglass Coffee on 7th St.

This is an opportunity to mingle with fellow local investors in an informal setting (rather than an office in the FiDi). No agenda, no sales pitches, no Powerpoint slides or handouts!

RSVP: www.meetup.com/sfbayre

We will be upstairs at the large tables!

@J. Martin will be joining us to share about achieving financial goals while living the life you want to live. His dream was to travel the world full-time, spend time with friends and family, and volunteer/mentor/fundraise. And that’s exactly what he’s been doing for 4 years! Starting with a felony, not a dime to his name, and credit card debt… J purchased several foreclosures and wholesale deals in the SF Bay, quit his 9-5 job, started an Airbnb subleasing business managed by a team in the Philippines, and 30 countries later… the rest is history! A big key was outsourcing and hiring other people, along with creating effective processes and procedures for daily work.

Want to spend more time with friends & family, traveling, or focusing on your passions? But too caught up in your job or business? Or thought about hiring someone locally or remotely, but had doubts and never pulled the trigger? Come learn practical approaches to creating an effective business that doesn’t need you and living the life you really want: by documenting your goals, learning to outsource, creating effective processes and procedures, and pursuing investments and business that are consistent with your goals.

If you can’t make it out to this meetup, be sure to check out his SF Bay Real Estate Networking Summit on Feb 8 & 9 in Oakland. It is a weekend-long Conference gathering the brightest investors from BiggerPockets and California. www.sfbsummit.com (and you can win tickets at our event if you show up in person!)
