Hey good morning!

I just wanted to send out a quick note to see who are my fellow self storage investors on this forum? I was thinking it would be nice to start a small network group and possibly exchange some deals! Feel free to reply here or reach out directly.

Hey guys! Thanks for the replies. June 24th looks to be a solid date. Let's pencil that in for the time being. Does that seem to work well? Thanks!

Hello friends! We have had a lot of success with meetups in the past and would like to fire up a new network group in Columbus Oh!

We would center each meetup with a strategy session and rotating guests.....sandwiched between networking!

Drop a line if you would have interest as this is something we would like to organize going forward.

Thanks!

@Steven J. Umaña Are you looking to stay in the burbs? I know there are some locations around New Albany that have Columbus taxes. But you would most likely be looking at SFHs.

@Rhandell Mitchell

Yes sir! I am looking to purchase in safer neighborhoods. Let me know what you come across!

@Missy Dee Absolutely!

Yup, you will want relevant info for a seller, maybe the name of your website and your phone #.

The key with CL is repetition. You need to post, renew, post every couple of days to stay relevant...this you may want to outsource.

Hey Kyle! I would recommend pricing out both options to come up with a solid ROI. The direct mail cost is going to be pretty standard. But depending on your market, PPC could be costly and not come to fruition. You would want to funnel to a solid website that could capture these online leads and act immediately, within 5 minutes.

I would also say that you should try to answer the phone as much as possible. We had a call center, a VA, google voice and online leads and none are as good as speaking with a motivated seller directly. They are motivated and want to set an appointment. As soon as they set the appointment, they stop calling the other yellow letters/postcards.

I love craigslist ads too, they are free and you will get bites from sellers AND buyers.

Then there are bandit signs, which, are a topic on their own.....check local laws.

Hope this helps!

Steve
