I want to network but don't know where to look. The ones on meetup are either not active anymore or are guru programs.

I am currently a student and will be for 2 more years. I don't work and don't have a source of income. I've read all about how you can get started with "No Money Down" etc but I'm wondering if I should or get a job and save up, atleast til I have enough for the down payment.

@Mindy Jensen Yea exactly. "A goal without a plan is just a dream". I read somewhere its better to find a deal then find an investor than the other way around. But I do know a few Angel investors that might fund the deal.

And Thank you, I'll get onto looking for home inspector right away. Should I get it appraised as well? Because I don't know much about how houses are priced.

For my first one I'm thinking wholesale, Its more about learning about the process of buying and selling a house  than the profit for me.

I've been reading, and listening to podcasts about REI for months now. I'm suffering Analysis Paralysis. So I've decided to create a deadline/goal date for my first deal so I don't put it off any longer. My question is how long does it usually take to find a decent deal. a month? weeks? days?
