Timothy Grothuesmann Yeah I will want to do online also. You said you can get discounts on the course? Where did you find those?

Thank you everybody for your thoughts! The 4-plex idea is something I'm not going to pass up! Now I just need to find one in our area! I feel like we don't have too many around here!

Hello everyone! I am thinking about getting my real estate license. Mostly for the learning, and to have that as backup, and just something to do. Where do you recommend going to get it? I live in Washington state just outside of Seattle. There are thousands of online courses, ranging from 200-2000$. Does anyone have any suggestions on whether to take an in class course or online, or what else? Thanks everyone!

Speaking of that, does anyone have any good books to recommend for our state specifically? Or just any books really. I read some of david Bachs books a few years back and loved it, and now that I am just starting out I am reading Rich dad, to kind of get a taste for everything, so maybe a more real estate specific book next? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Thank you Alexander Zurn I have been looking for some information on our state specifically, because I always hear of certain programs but am never sure what is actually offered here.

@Matt Gragg I would absolutely love that. Everett is my all time favorite area. I have grown up in marysville, but living in Kirkland the last 2 years for school. Would love to start in the Everett area! I will pm you for sure.

Thank you all so much for the help! I think the 4-Plex idea for the first home (only 3.5% down) is just too good of an opportunity to turn down. Thank you all! Tatiana Gershanovich Matt Gragg Jack B.

Blake Hansen ok awesome. I wasn't sure if the 10% down was one of the special loans or programs you can do as a first time homebuyer that maybe requires you to live in the property. Thank you!
