@JaMarcus Joseph it is just a causal meeting for coffee that I set up to make connections with others. It is not affiliated with CARREIA, but I did join that group and plan to attend their meeting this month as well. Hope you can join us.

Welcome @Ross Johnson. I am in Little Rock and would be happy to connect sometime. You will find that BP has a wealth of information regarding just about any real estate investing topic. I have only been using it about a month, but have learned a lot by just following what is going on in the forums.

@Rowan Ledbetter. I think LR is a solid market. It is a diverse and growing real estate market with a low entry point. Also, except for a few areas, property taxes are low and you do not have to deal with a significant amount of regulation. Overall, that is good for business.

I have been using Pro since I started using the site, so I am not sure what the differences are. I just assumed that for the yearly cost, it was worth it.

@Joseph S. Welcome to BP. My office is in Little Rock. What type of multi-family are you interested in? 

@Necia Bunnell. Central Arkansas is an interesting market. There can be a significant difference in premiums between providers for the area. It sounds crazy, but the earthquake risk here is something that can influence the price of coverage. I personally use Nationwide, but I also refer several people to State Farm. I have provided the info for the two local agents I trust below. Good luck.

I'm pretty new to BP and also recently joined CARREIA. I haven't been able to make a meeting yet, but plan to make the April meeting. I wanted to see if anyone has a regular morning coffee meeting or if others would be interested in such a meeting. Nothing formal, just to have a chance to connect. I previously read the paper every morning but have found that I can learn as much while connecting with others. Just looking for other ways to get me out of the office. Let me know.
