Hey guys,

Plenty of questions around COVID-19 in Commercial Real Estate. My firm has a great flash call for all of those that are interested in market drivers and where this may lead for our industry.

Yes. My expertise for brokerage is industrial and office, and we have had a few of our tenants come to us for rent relief, or ask to review specific clauses in their lease for this type of damage, which in my opinion i get given the circumstances. Luckily we found a particular insurance clause that supported.

With trust in the stock market at an all-time low, especially recently with the extreme instability we have been seeing. This leaves many people uneasy and uncertain about their investments in the stock market. Well, where else can people invest their money where there is safety and confidence in good, stable returns? Multi-Family investing is seen as potentially a very safe and very lucrative investment. If done correctly this form of investing can return well over 10% returns.

This event is headlined by the very successful Todd Dexheimer. Todd is the CEO of Venture D Properties, LLC he started investing in Real Estate in 2008 in mainly single-family homes & small multi-family. He will shed some light on how and why Multi-Family investing is seen as such a stable asset class to invest in. Currently, Todd owns approximately $35 million in real estate comprising of 550 units and 25,000 sqft of office and retail located in 5 states (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee). His focus is on syndicating value-add multi-family in emerging markets.

On the contrary, if you are working with a reputable PM company focusing on decent size commercial asset's, i think it is good exposure in my opinion. You are considered in the "biz" and will most likely have the opportunity to bump into other RE professionals than in another field.

It's a good consideration.

@Tony Lee

It’s funny because some companies have begun reversing this notion, as so I am reading. More humanized factor in the office, face to face meetings etc.

But I digress. I think charging towards a trend of remote working one trend we will see less office square footage leased and demanded per tenant. Ie. a company taking 2 floors, 5000 square feet or something vs leasing or buying 30,000 square feet expecting everyone in the office at all times.

@Jarod Blackowiak welcome man! I'd definitely say utilize the events page on here to search local meetups. Search by zip. Meetup.com is another hidden gem.

One thing i wish i knew when starting was taking more time to evaluate a market and knowing the numbers on a deal to a tee.

Let me know if you want to grab coffee and talk shop anytime.
