Hi, are there additional webinars for Pro members? If yes, where can I sign up for them? I attended my first Wednesday webinar last week and I'm hooked! @Brandon Turner does a fantastic job and it was packed with value. Definitely time well spent!

Hi Matt Dougherty a huge welcome to the BP community! I think your plan of immersing yourself in education and becoming a buy and hold investor is very sound. Most seasoned investors look back on their business and wish they had "bought more and sold less!" Flipping and wholesaling are sexy for TV but poor from a tax perspective. The BP site and the thousands of investors that connect to it are in my humble opinion the best type of real estate education anywhere. The podcasts, webinars, experts, millions of posts, forums, marketplace, etc. can provide you with a better education than any course. The cost of a Pro membership is almost free if you use the resources to help you on your first deal. I am not getting paid by Joshua Dorkin to say this but I just believe it! Be sure to reach out frequently to the BP community now and in the future.

Hi James Wise , the links in your Post seem to be broken. How can I get added to your buyers list?

Thanks @Matthew King for the info. Do you work with large multi family (>100 doors) deals? I'm probably not ready to buy for a couple of months but do you have a buyers list I can be added to?

Welcome aboardBrandon Barry . I am a Cleveland investor with more desire than actual success at present. However I agree that Cleveland holds a lot of potential providing you know where to invest!

Welcome aboard Justin Steward ! Do you ever plan on investing in Buffalo? I plan on moving back to Toronto within a year and always thought there may be 'hidden gems' in Buffalo if you had local knowledge? What do you think?

Welcome Robert Lytle to the BP community. I'm not a flipper myself but if I hear of anything through my network, I'll help you anyway I can. BP the the best resource available if you take advantage of all it can offer. Do you do anything in Cleveland? Do you plan on doing multi family?

Hi all, I'm actually a member who has been here for 2 years but really didn't do anything since then so I'm trying to jump back in with both feet! BP is the best resource on the web for RE investors bar none and I just realized that the community here is fantastic! I originally started invested in the mid 1980s (yes, I'm a kid in my fifties!) and held about 10 doors before the real estate crash in 1987. I have hailed from British Columbia for the past 20 years but looking to invest in Ontario and Ohio. I currently own 1 duplex in Cleveland but it is not rent ready. I know there's a lot of interesting and experienced investors in Ohio and I hope to connect with you via BP. If there are any Canadian investors with holdings in the US I would be interested in finding out what entities you are using. I have been told that Limited Partnerships are much better than LLCs due to the tax treatment. I am an avid reader, podcast listener, and love to consume all things Real Estate! If you have any podcasts or books you would recommend please let me know. I have read 2 of Brandon's books, all of the Rich Dad series, and probably 10 other RE books. I attended my first webinar last Wednesday with @brandon-turner and was so blown away that I immediately converted my membership to Pro. Brandon thanks for the awesome work you do on the podcasts! I am back to BP to give as much as I can, connect with some awesome people, and hopefully learn a little along the way!
Dave Meyer thanks for this post. I have been a BP member for 2 years but never posted more than a few posts. What a waste of my membership! I've never been any good at stats but you explained it very clear and the correlation is obvious. Thanks to your post I have set a new goal to become an active poster. I don't think I'll ever be in the top 1000 like James Wise !!
