@Marc Ramsay Have you found out any more information on that Bank in fort mill, SC?

I ask because I just found an abandoned property while driving for dollars here in Texas, and when I looked up the tax records I found the exact same info you did

U.S. Bank National Association

3476 STATEVIEW BLVD
FORT MILL, SC 29715

This is the first time I've tried finding a bank for a foreclosure

@Jesse T. I will definitely look into the siding/roofing offering financing

Do it Yourself is somewhat of an option, I am out of state but its only about 3.5 hrs away. What would you suggest as far as landscaping? Some shrubs in the flowerbed? what about the grass in the front?

Thank you all for the advice. As far as having the repairs as buyer credit or selling the house as is, I'm assuming those are two different stratageies?

Selling as is you simply reduce the asking price by how much the repairs will be, is that right?

@Josh C. The house is a couple blocks from campus (5 min walk).  It's right off of university and orchard if you're familiar with Stillwater

I am currently in the process of getting putting my house up for sale.  The house needs a new roof and unfortunately I don't have the funds available to pay for the repairs.  What are some good ways to finance the repairs (roof, siding, landscape, etc)

I was kicking around the idea of borrowing against my 401k. I'm new to this and welcome any ideas y'all might have.

Also if you happen to be looking for a place in Stillwater, OK. I know a guy

Thanks

I am in the process of selling a property a college town (OSU) where they have created a similar ordinance as the one being talked about by TCU. My property is a 5 bedroom, so renting to just three didn't make since

@Adam Wright   Correct me if I'm wrong but, would you still be okay as long as there weren't more than 3 un-related adults in the same unit. So for example a duplex with 6 ppl (3 per unit) would be okay?

I was planning on selling house at OSU so I could do something similar down here, but I had no idea they were trying to do the same thing here.

@Chloe Thomas keep us posted on how your search progresses, and good luck!

This may be a dumb question...

I'm on the website for tax delinquent sales for my county.  There is a list with just a cause #, Account #, then it says For Sale.  Then below that there is a section that says "Writ of execution" which gives a property address.

What is the difference between the ones with just cause #/ Account #/ For sale and the ones with a writ of execution?

How do you get the information for the ones with just a cause #/ account #

Thanks

I would be interested in meeting fellow BPers!  Best time for me is on the weekends but can be flexible with weekday evenings. I live in Ft. Worth, so I could do the saginaw location.
