Hello, I'm Brandi. I've been on bigger pockets for a few months, actually have made a new member post before and a few other posts.

I truly believe I was way ahead of myself and going to fast. I've talked with a few investors on here, nothing ever worked out, I do believe that's where getting ahead of myself came in.

I need to connect with investors that are more local, I currently live in fremont Indiana. Very small town. I planned to invest in fort wayne or other larger cities in Indiana, just because it's heavily populated, more opportunity. Although, I don't plan to invest anytime soon.

I'm currently getting settled into my apartment. I am looking into getting my real estate salesperson license, I know this will open a lot of doors for me. I plan to Receive my Broker license a year later.

In the meantime I would love to connect with anybody and have a mentor. I will be a bird dog for free. Anything to learn what it takes to be successful.

If anyone knows some good books, that would be nice too. I am currently on the last chapter of rich dad poor dad. I am reading it again when I'm finished, very good book!

thank you!

I have not done any deals myself yet. im so ready to get out and get my hands dirty.

I have a few properties that are FSBO. I recently was trying to do the deals with someone, but I dont have time to be pushed to the side with no insight of what's going on, almost like they're trying to "steal" the deals from me. lol. To make a long story short, I would like to connect with someone that is more active and possibly turn these into JV deals? I feel that this would be a good starting point for myself, i would like to have someone physically walk me through these.

Feel free to just shoot me a message! I can explain it a lot better. thank you in advance.

hey everybody! I'm not able to get on here as much as I would like. I work full time and don't have much time, I made my mind up about real estate awhile ago. I was just curious about something I've thought about in the past, but has been running through my mind frequently. I plan to move to Indiana, real soon, that's where I work and I been thinking, when I move, plan to take classes for home inspection, once I complete, I can do that....plus work, not only that, I can inspect my own homes when I start investing. Good idea or No?

Thanks y'all!

Pay the $225 so you know you're covered and completely legal and make copies? Hope this helps.

I'm not to new to the site, but I am new to RE. Im looking to connect/network with anyone willing to teach a 19 year old a few tricks, or just anyone that wants to talk RE. I have not done any deals. Looking to do one in the future, definitely.

I was just wondering if anybody has had any luck using the assignment contract from BP/file place? I was going to download a couple and put one to use. Would I have to get a couple checked out by an attorney as well?

Thank you in advance!

The assignment contract when you're doing a wholesale deal.

hi everyone, I just wanted to get a direct answer from someone about assignment contracts. Where exactly do you get them? I see people download them, print them off. I also have seen where you sign the contract at the title company when you close? Not 100% sure. I'm also located in Michigan, so someone from Michigan would be more helpful unless you know. I know all states work differently.

Thank you in advance!

1) Read books on personality styles and/or negotiation ('Getting to Yes,' etc) - if you're wholesaling, you will be dealing with a LOT of different personality types, and it helps to have a little insight ahead of time

2) Get really good at analyzing properties and markets.  This takes time and practice, but is on par with marketing as your most important wholesaling skill.

Good luck!

Thank you Brandon! That's a good tip, I haven't heard that tip before "read books on personality styles / negotiation" I appreciate it!!
