Good morning BP family,

I am new to real estate investing and I am eager to dive in. I've been binging webinars, youtube vids, podcasts, reading these forums and attending networking events in my area to educate myself and meet like minded people that I can learn from, possibly shadow and evenutally/possibly work on a deal with.  I am a hands on learner and would like to shadow someone on a deal from start to finish, if you are in the NYC area and would not mind a shadow please let me know and lets discuss.

Good morning BP family,

I am new to real estate investing and I am eager to dive in.  I've been binging webinars, youtube vids, podcasts and these forums and attending networking events in my area to educate myself and meet like minded people that I can learn from, possibly shadow and evenutally/possibly work on a deal with.  I came across a post from a few years ago regarding hard money lenders and auctions however;  I felt the need to post the question again just in case there have been any changes.  Has anyone had any luck obtaining a property via auction (particularly auction.com) using a hard money lender?  If so please post your experience and who the lender is, or if you know any hard money lenders that fund properties via auction please post.

Thank you all in advance for your responses.

Cordially

Lateeka  :-)

Hello Alex,

Welcome to BiggerPockets.  I too am a newbie in this real estate investment game but I'm eager to learn and become an experienced investor.  Looks like youre off to a great start by introducing yourself. I am also from NYC, however I want to purchase RE outside of the city.  The BP podcasts are a great tool, if you havent checked them out yet; I recommend that you do.  Good Luck!!

@Joe Fairless. This is inspiring, I’m new to REI and I’m eager to learn all I can. I currently line in Brooklyn so I get the whole “high cost of living” explanation. I am also looking to invest outside of NY, it’s my best bet in terms of getting started. Thank you for your post, I will be listening to all of the links you posted, I’m sure I will take much away from it. Thank you again.
