I know people in my neck of the woods that are still doing that more or less. They are still closing A to B (wholesaling) and then B to C, but the A to B is funded with C's funding. As far as I know, double closing is still more or less widely used in most states, I could be wrong though.

So I've only just started my REI journey myself, but I've gotten reacquainted with an "uncle" (family friend) that has dabbelled on/off with real estate over many years. He came to visit us this past week, we got to talking about REI, and he mentioned how he tries trying to do some wholesale deals in WA state (where he lives right) that he just happened into. In our discussion he mentioned he's running into trouble with title companies doing a double closing/simultaneous, especially a dry closing (where you float funds from the end buyer to purchase from the seller). Can anyone shed any light on this? Is this not possible in WA or just extremely uncommon. He's in the greater seattle area, maybe someone coudl recomend a closing or title company that might be familiar/willing to do this?

Miguel I'm in a similar boat. Due to some changes in circumstances, I'm unable to easily / wisely oursie any flips or Rental purchases on my own. I'm considering either doing the wholesale route or finding someone to partner with (as I can provide a chunk of cash) and learn from at the same time .

I would be open to working with wholesalers as well.

Hello BP, so I just got done with some personal projects and I've been studying any and everything there is about real estate investment. I'm ready to take the plunge and get serious about this venture.  My brother and I are going to partner on the deal, and we both were left sizable trusfunds by our late grandmother. We would be able to pay cash for the right property. So I'm looking for an investor friendly agent in the Tampa area. I'm looking to invest in the Tampa Heights, Seminole Heights, North Hyde Park, or Temple Terrace areas.

Welcome to BP Mark. I'm just jumping into the real estate game myself, local here in Tampa (born and raised) and also went to undergrad in Lakeland (Florida Southern). I know both areas pretty well. Maybe we could meet up and get coffee and talk shop.
