Hello BP,

I just received contact information for a local wholesaler here in Houston and I want to ask for his help with getting my foot in the door. How do I ask for help from someone to make it worth his time? I keep thinking, why would he help me, it would mean there would be one more person in the Houston area that he would have to worry about possibly taking a deal from him.  Any advise would help.

Hello BP,

My name is Ashley, I live in Houston, Texas. I am currently working on getting my real estate license as well as buying my first rental property. Are there any investors out there who have already accomplished this, who are willing to give advise? I'm not quite sure what brokerages I should try to apply with once I am licensed. I first made he decision to become an agent so that I will be able to gain access to the MLS, but now I see more benefits to being a full time agent. Someone please help!

I'm looking into buy and hold real estate, can anyone direct me to good websites to do more research? I am planning on taking classes this fall semester are there any classes  that others have found helpful and relevant for this line of work?
