I COULDN'T AGREE MORE DETROIT IS THE BEST PLACE TO INVEST RIGHT NOW. I'M WILLING TO COMPARE DETROIT DEALS AS WELL.

DETROIT HAS THE BEST (low acquisition cost vs cashflow from rental) of any market. The same can be said for flips however those are more strategic and need some skills and insights to find the right areas.

Hello BP,

I have a client selling a turnkey property in Detroit.  It's completely turnkey property with property management already in place. 3bedrroom 1.5 bath in a nice area directly on side of a brand new highschool for $43,000. It's been occupied by the same tenants for 3 years and current rent is $750. Here is the link to the photos.

Hello,

I have a client trying to sell his property quicky and at a discount. The address is 18911 Northlawn Detroit, MI 48221 and he's selling for $70k. All taxes, water bill paid and its a warranty deed.  The house is a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home with a family room/ potential 4th bedroom and a office. The house is almost complete only needing paint, trim and exterior shutters to add curb appeal. But is livable now. These things will cost less that $5k. I have photos and more info if you like.

I just wanted to bring it to you all on bigger pockets  because I feel its a great deal and I wish I could buy it myself. Anyway I pulled some comps and the house directly across the street sold on November 1st, 2017 for $141k (18916 Northlawn) and a completely outdated home not as nice as this one (18924 Northlawn) sold for $86k on 10/10/17.

Hello Rochelle,

If you interested in the Detroit market I can give you a full run down and walk you through the whole process. There are great opportunities here but however you do need some capital to start off. You can make return's on your investment as high as 20% here and it would affect your current situation. If you and your partner can come up with $35,000 your in business.
