Post: Eviction Due to Foreclosure

Hi Folks!

So everything I read says RUN the other way whenever it shows someone has an eviction.  I did a walkthrough with a prospective tenant and he seemed honest and upfront about being evicted approx 3 yrs ago.  He said it was due to the owner not paying the mortgage and they were evicted due to that.

Any guidance in this area? Thanks so much

- James

@Josh - I appreciate it either way. You're right, I am overthinking it.  Ill leave the lease in my name and my wife can just manage it.

Hi BP folks,

We are developing a lease for our property now but wanted some quick advice.  All accounts are in my name along with the online leasing system.  My wife will be the one managing the rentals.  Does she have to be on the lease as a landlord?  Can we add in as: James and Kat Wright?

Or should I leave the lease landlord in my name and add a clause that she is allowed to respond to and manage the property?  Am I overthinking this? :)

Hi Everyone! New guy here...

I have a quick question.  Does anyone use digital leases and are they suitable? Everything i read said they are legal and enforceable but wondering how many of you use them.
