@Lucia Rushton yes I’m trying to pay cash, also i have a family contractor who can do rehab and its going to save me ton. My goal is brrrr. I am trying to find property to fix and add value so I can refinance later once its rented. I agree the wholesellers are just for payout too. Its hard to find honest people wholeselling.

I am trying to get my skin on the game i.e. start with multifamily. How do I find the right wholeseller & real estate agent who could help. Also, how much is the down payment needed? I read some say 5%, 15% or conventional loan of 20%. Also, how people do creative financing and find those kind of deals?

I’m in DFW area looking to invest on MF where I could force equity/ value-add & do brrrr. Is there a meet up group where people meet and discuss?

Is there a Real Estate meet up group around DFW, where like minded folks meet and discuss. I want to learn and educate myself and be around experienced folks who knw ins & out. Also, how d I find the right wholeseller and real estate agent? I am ready to start so I already talked witha family contractor now I need to find wholesellers, I am in couple of facebook groups but I am very skeptical as I have never done the deal and how to find the right home inspector to do due diligence on the property.

We are team of 3/4, two of the team members have W-2 income and gross around 8.5k a month, and all together we have saved up some funds too, we’re looking to get into real estate in DFW, but it seems expensive. Looking for advice on how to find right realtors to work with who can find nice multi-family rentals. As well as, do we just call the locak banks in DFW and get pre-qualified loan?

How to find multi tenant commercial properties like stripes? I looked in loopnet and different mls but I could not find anything suitable, is there any specific mls that’s used in commercial real estate investing. My relative is looking to buy a multi tenant commercial property around 1-2m in Dallas. How to find commercial properties like that other than loopnet.

Would anyone advice me how to find pre foreclosure, back taxes, land and properties on Internet. I searched on zillow and filtered it but still can’t find a lot of stuffs. Also, how to find off market properties and contact the owner directly?
