Hello all, Do I need  a new lease or can I stay using the long term lease previously signed for month to month

Back ground : House hack BRRR

Long term lease is ending soon "SEP 23" lease states upon end date

I am not currently raising the rent as I am already on the top end of rent comps.

Hey everyone

In the process of obtaining a second property

My first purchase was a duplex with a FHA 203k

It is not worth the refi due to the low interest and no cash out.

I am now looking to use a homestyle loan to purchase another house hack brrrr.

What are common mistakes made in purchasing your seconded property

@Frank Greg while I understand that damage occurred the cord was 200$ and she drove it for the following week then said it needed all the electrical components replaced after leaving a charging port open in the snow for 2 days and the cord lay across a walk way

@Wesley W.thank you for your response my lease does state all common areas must remain free from any personal belongings as well as they assume liability to any left or damage to personal property in carports and driveways.

Should I call are for claims lawyers in preparation for a possible case

The purposes of this post are to learn strategies and plan further actions.

Tenant did not clear the snow from there walk way

I informed that that I would now snowblow while snow blowing the charger to the ev car got cut. it was buried under the snow and ran across the walk way

The tenant now states her car needs 5000$ worth of repairs. And I should pay.

I did delince as she failed to clear the snow and left the wire buried under the snow I gave verbal notice I would be clearing the snow 1/2 hour prior
