I just saw the same thing, and now it says pending. The plot thickens...

Id wait and just non-renew, unless you think that 3 dogs will cause a lot of damage...I dont think the chickens will. Its not so much that she has chickens, its that she lied. One dog turned into 3, a chicken turned into chickens turned into emotional support chickens. (??) Actually, Im not so sure any animal can be an emotional support animal. I thought it was limited to dogs and mini horses, tho I could be wrong there.

Id be concerned that she's engaged to him. No reason for them not to move him in. It would have been one thing had she told you about him so you could decide up front, but the fact that she never mentioned she is engaged is concerning.

If they havent paid you any rent for two months, how do you think they will come up with 3 months worth of rent? Did they just get an inheritance? Did they win the lottery?

Pit bull attack just a few days ago in Wellington. “I’ve never seen them act that way since I’ve had them. They’ve always been so timid and loving,” if Ive heard that argument once, Ive heard it a million times.

I just shake my head when I hear someone say, oh its not the dog its the owner, and then show a picture of their pitt bull snuggled up with their 3 year old. Makes me cringe. I know case after case after case of pit bulls attacking kids, or killing other dogs, that were raised in great families. Pitt bulls are an aggressive breed. They've been bred this way for decades and decades. Its why you dont ever hear of poodle fighting rings. Or border collie fighting rings. My best friend has 2 pitt bulls that came from show lines, and she is even a little concerned about them when people are around. She locks them up. And wont let them around other dogs. I hope the OP contacts the appropriate authorities before someone is killed.

I was reading another landlord forum, and the issue with ESA/Service animals came up, and the deposit issue. What several of these landlords have now done is instead of having a pet deposit, which you cant do with service animals, is that they just incorporate it into the normal deposit. They do it across the board so all their units have to pay the higher deposit. They found they had to do that in order to protect their properties from animal damage.

How does he work without a Social Security number? His employer is required to take out taxes from his check. I smell a rat.
