@Mark Allen I think so too! But thank you for the words of encouragement. I do have some people that will put the signs down in Knoxville when I'm not there and unable to myself. I will also consider door knocking in the process of driving for dollars.

Thanks again

@Christopher B.

So now you want to talk down to me because in your eyes I'm an "overly ambitious rookie". What does me having 5 posts, no picture, no bio have to do with what I created this thread for? The more you let people talk the more they reveal about them self and you're a great example of that statement right now. If you read my original post I said we're looking to put down signs in Knoxville and at a later time here in the metroplex. That means we will be focusing on Knoxville first DFW second. Again, it's unfortunate that your dislike for bandit signs has brought you to the point that you're on an REI form ridiculing someone who stands where you once did. On top of that you nor @Chris Eaker never answered my question of whether it was legal to use these signs or not, just quick to give your opinion on the use of them. I didn't need to know if they get picked up or not. Of course they do at some point by the city and/or by people like yourself. However, I already knew the answer to the question anyway. I just wanted to prove that neither one of you did.

No need for your wishes if they are genuine. Happy holidays.

Christopher, I would have to be an idiot to think I was the only person putting signs down in Knoxville or really in any city in 2016 almost 2017. It's unfortunate that you have ill feelings about bandit signs but that won't stop myself or any other investor in Knoxville from putting them down. And for you to try to tell me not to market in a particular city just because you don't like the approach says a lot.

Chris I can appreciation wanting to keep the city up. I lived there from the age of 5 and then moved to Atlanta from there when I was 29. I was just in town visiting family for Thanksgiving. I really only saw one investors sign in different parts of the city. But can either you or Christopher answer this- is it against the law to use these signs in the city and/or county of Knoxville?

Hi Bill and thank you for your response. I've wondered why there are mixed reviews about bandit signs. I've always heard the argument you've just presented but at the same time I've seen where some cities allow the use of these signs. I've done a little research on the laws of using them in Knoxville and from what I've found you are able to.

Hello BP! Question- We're looking to put down some bandit signs in Knoxville, TN and at later time around the DFW metroplex. Can anyone give some suggestions on companies in either area? Looking to start out in Knoxville first. I called a few places in Knoxville today (FastSigns, Print Edge, Alpha Graphics and Jim McMichaels). Or has anyone had any better luck with cutting the cost and making the signs themselves? I'm all ears! Thanks in advance for the help!

Benjamin, That's a good question but doesn't seem like there is a real answer. I'm just getting started myself and would like to do the same thing. I'm located in Dallas but grew up in Knoxville (graduated from Bearden). If you want to get together on anything let me know. Best of luck to you.
