@Zane McLaughlin I'm interested, if you're able to put a group together.  It would be great to meet a bunch of like-minded folks investing in Fayetteville.

Chris Martin are you developing in the South Park area? The proximity to downtown Raleigh does make it seem very appealing for a speculative play. I'm sure we'll see more written about the area in the near future. -Andrew

Natalie Kolodij thanks for starting this thread. Some great feedback so far! Steve Vaughan I like the advice you have to take down the MFs you mentioned. I'm going to try your advice with a 10 unit in my area. It's been held by the same folks for 30 years, I'm hoping for a seller financing play. -Andrew

I just closed on my first, purely investment buy & hold property in Fayetteville. It was a VA foreclosure and purchased with cash. Plan on doing this the BRRR method. Kicking off the light renovation soon. Goal is to have the place rent ready by 1JAN17. I'm certainly interested in more SFRs, but am very interested in entering the multi-family game. I have mixed feelings about the Fayetteville, NC market--however you can't deny that there is a ton of investor activity here. -Andrew

Todd Krzeminski congrats on the payoff! May I ask how you acquired the note? Do you use a service or have some other means of purchasing discounted notes? Maybe you have the Midas touch! Thanks! -Andrew

Jordan Sutherland congrats on the recent purchase. Three doors in such a short time is awesome! May I ask, how are you holding the properties? In your personal name or an LLC/Corp? Having access to your private lender is awesome and sounds like you got some excellent terms. Rinse and repeat! Take care. -Andrew

Matthew Rembish congrats on your first flip! The place turned out great and you still made money with all the challenges you faced. Great job! What's next for you? Are you still primarily using an agent to find the next deal? I hope you're sinking your profit right back into your business, it's sure to pay dividends! Post more pics, it's always cool to see the transformation. Take care, -Andrew

@Don Harris are you interested in other NC markets?  Specifically the Ft. Bragg/Fayetteville area?

If so, is your buying criteria the same as in Charlotte?

Thanks in advance!

Nick Schroeder congrats on the first flip!! The place turned out great! How did you finance the purchase and rehab? Hard money, private money, personal funds? Also, how did you find this deal? Wholesaler, MLS, other? -Andrew
