@Karen Margrave you were right, the color of the home has changed. As you mentioned once the grass, roof, and shutters get done it will really display the color as mentioned in the model but we're back happy now. Thanks for your advice - that's why I love BP! (I posted updated picture in Resources, File Place, and Images - for some reason I can't post here)

Wife and I currently have 1 rental property in Missouri in which we have a property manager. We are getting ready to rent out our current home in Florida as a 2nd rental as we're building a new home and closing on it in June and moving in July. We will self manage 2nd rental property since its in the same state (FL) and approximately 10 miles from where our new home will be. As we prepare to rent our current home, what is a good website for tenant screening? What works better collecting rent online through a website or having tenants deposit check at bank in your accounts? Do you collect, 1st and last month rent plus security deposit? What website do you use to solicit your properties for rental? Any other useful information will be greatly appreciated?

@Karen Margrave thanks for posting the picture and everyone else for the comments.
The contract we signed for was mustard and tan. The color in that photo above is not mustard and tan even when the roof, grass and sidewalk get installed.
We're guessing/hoping this is a primer and more coating will be applied but not totally sure. @Karen Margrave as you mentioned the top looks white and bottom looks tan. We will have to ask the builder but they are asking the buyers to not visit the site since construction is ongoing but of course I would like to keep track of the home in the event of times like this where there is a huge discrepancy in exterior paint color.
Although the builders have indicated we can see the home but only on an appointment base only due to the hazard of home and getting hurt in the event if a representative from the builder company isn't around.
So my question remains, we signed a contract for a mustard and tan home and obviously that's not what the painted home appears to be. What are our rights as a buyer?

Sorry couldn't upload pic but the current color right now is more like light peach color vs the model home color we expected and signed our contract to be based on was a darker beige color.

My wife and I have signed a contract for a new construction home in Florida. The land was bought by the construction company and we chose our lot and house model. (There are 18 homes going up in the enclave) The picture attached is a picture I took today of the 1st viewing of the paint color of our home. The model home that we expected the color of our house is below. As you can tell there is a considerable difference as we thought our home would have a darker exterior color. This might be the 1st coating but in the event its not do we as the buyer have a right for the construction company to paint close to the specifications of the model home we signed our contract and agreed upon? We have already put down a significant amount of money and I'm leery of our closing until the exterior of our home is closer to what we expected in the model.
