Sorry...the calculator is about half way down on the Bigger Pockets homepage....not all the way at the bottom.

@Billy Andryusky Bigger Pockets has an "Analyze A Deal" tool.  I think you can analyze up to 5 deals per month if you have a free subscription.  And it bumps that number up if you have a paid subscription.  The calculator can be found on the Bigger Pockets homepage (click on the Bigger Pockets logo - top left) and scroll all the way to the bottom.  Good luck!

I was curious if anyone has completed one (or more) wholesaling deals in Ottawa?  Any insights?  What was the process like?  Where did the lead come from (vacant home, divorce, pre-foreclosure etc.)?  Any tips for a brand new investor currently researching/marketing/and striving to make their very first wholesale deal in Ottawa?

Thanks.

Hi @Margie Thompson, keep reading and searching the BP resources...tons of info on different methods and strategies to invest with no debt, lots of debt, good credit, bad credit, no capital, or loads of capital.  I am admittedly no expert, but I am learning that real estate investing is possible for any and all who are WILLING.  Welcome and Good Luck!

Hey @Rahul Bura and @Jim Pellerin

I see this post is more than a few months old but I figured I would reach out anyways.  I am brand new to real estate investing in Ottawa.  Just wondering how you guys are finding the market and if you had any success in connecting with one another.  Coffees on me if you are interested in getting together to chat.  let me know!

@Annie Caya

I am also a new member from Ontario (Ottawa).  One of the main reasons I joined this community was to find like minded people within the same areas.  All the best!

Hello All,

As a new investor, I have been taught and read in numerous places that having a solid power team in place is imperative.  I have already started the process of interviewing and adding potential people to my team as I move forward.  However, I figured I should reach out to the community here and see if anybody has any referrals for people in the Ottawa area.  I would like to meet with knowledgeable and "investor friendly" accountants, lawyers, realtors, and mortgage brokers who people may have had good experiences with.

Any insights would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Allen

Hello All,

I am a new member from Ottawa and am just starting out in real estate investing.  I would love to hear if any one has any tips/advice/experience in the Ottawa area.  Thoughts and/or comments on the opportunities available in Ottawa?
