@Kurt Pauley - Thanks for the welcome note Kurt.  Oddly enough, I was going to attend your last meet-up at Venn Brewery but had a personal matter come up and couldn't attend.  I'd love to meet you face-to-face but want to warn you I have a very limited schedule in the coming weeks.  However, I do have time on Monday, Sept 10th at 7:30 am.  Would you be able to meet at Five Watt Coffee off 38th and at Five Watt Coffee.  If so, let me know and we can put it on the calendar.

Hello Bigger Pockets.  I'm a fairly new member in Minneapolis, MN and looking for opportunities to partner on commercial multi-family apartment buildings.  My day job is an account executive with a large software company.  Unfortunately, this job requires a lot of travel, stress, and no predictability.  One of my 3 years goals is to make enough money through real estate & other investments and walk away from Workday to begin syndicating large commercial properties.  

My preference is to partner on C+ or B apartment buildings.  In addition to investing in these apartment buildings, I would be very interested in partnering on a flip to learn how to analyze, plan, and execute.  If you have flip opportunities in MN or Western WI or commercial multifamily please feel free to shoot me a note.  

I'm also looking to network with general contractors, investors, wholesalers, brokers, and agents.   

Looking forward getting connected and hopefully meeting some of you in person.

I’m exploring an opportunity to purchase 4 multi-family properties in partnership with others. I’ve never done a purchase with partners and curious if it is standard practice to for the person who finds the deal to get a 5-10% finders fee in equity?
