@Chris Parrish thanks for the welcome. I've heard Rare Bird mentioned a few times as great for networking. As I am just starting to lean into joining those circles and expanding my network please let me know of any other groups / meet ups you recommend in Portland.

@kennethhynes I totally agree. I've started listening to the BP pod cast on my commute to work and have already learned many tips from structuring deals, value of partnerships and tax strategies for maximizing profits. Are there any classic must listen to episodes you recommend?

Hi Bigger Pockets folks. I'm happy to have found such an inspiring network of people who have personal experiences and strategies I can learn from. I'm finding my stride in sourcing more deals than I can handle given this is not my full-time source of income, yet..a challenge for now but an opportunity to partner with others in Portland, Oregon area and beyond. I've done a few of what is referred to on BP as house hacks over the last 5 years - thanks for uniquely coining my personal approach to real estate thus far. With a few of those under my belt I want to shift gears and focus on rehabs/flips in order to achieve my short term goal of building more liquidity.  If you are in Portland definitely reach out - and if you aren't in Portland still reach out!
