How relevant is the value strategy of having cable and satellite service pay you for the right to offer its services on your property? Despite the feasibility of installing necessary equipment at the site affecting the decision. What other pros and cons are there?

@Ivan Barratt  Thanks for the feed back.  I figure a draft should come before and then the attorney would edit accordingly.  Nevetheless, will do :-)

Looking for some feedback on a partnership agreement.  ( Any one have a template?   I looked in the files there was only one and i was unable to download).

Example:

Two people come together to form a partnership as one entity that buys n holds, Fix n Flips and does syndication deals in mainly the MF area and at time SF.

I partner has the financing through a private lender and works full time and the other partner puts in 90% of the due diligence work and activities needed to maintain the project and see it out through to completion.

Is it fair to say as a startup the partnership can have a 70/30 split of profit.  70 to the person putting up the financing and 30 to the person getting the work done.

Also the person doing the daily work gets a small agreed upon salary.

Lastly the partners will also agree on a percentage of profits that will be reinvested into the business to make sure it is growing and resources are maintained as the business blossoms.

I understand that in depends on what both partners agree to, however as an experienced person in the industry, would you consider this a fair deal?   Y or N and Why?

@Cara Lonsdale   thank you. I like the idea of not listing the exact amount.

@Abel Sng you were absolutely right on this.   It was an off the market deal and it didn't go anywhere.    I found a ton that has cash flow and i wouldn't even look twice at something that doesnt cash flow again right now.

My business partner and I decided to pass on it

@Anthony Gayden   I totally agree with you.

@Daniel J.  I mean this in the most genuine way......Who cares if you are new to the RE industry.    Its all about collaboration with the right people.  Besides, the people that are joining forces and closing larger deals are the ones that are winning.

Having experienced partners will give you more leverage and you will get educated from experienced investors throughout the journey instead of going into it small and solo and possibly making your own mistakes.

@Mindy Jensen   Okay,  i dont recall changing the alert status before deleting it.  I'll try that.  Thank you

I recently deleted all my keyword alerts from the keyword section but the alerts keep coming in (New Discussion Alerts).  How do I stop the notifications from coming to my email?
