Daniel, to you I will say that it seems to me you are in the right track because you are actually doing REI. Although to be honest with you, I kind of curious about how is that you are doing it.

Are you doing wholesales, or another REI strategy?

In my case, I have been very cautious in starting anything by myself and I am still waiting to find that great mentor that can help me through the process a couple of times before I feel comfortable enough to do my deals.

Thanks for your post.

Al

James, thanks for your reply. I am looking for a mentor my sell and I think what you said about getting their attention with a real deal you are working it is very clever.

Thanks again,

Al

Thanks everybody. I will check the websites and follow your different advices.

Thanks a lot again,

Al

Post: Anyone do this part time?

Hi, I lost my job at the end of last year and I decided to do this full time. My reasoning behind this decision is that full time is the way to go if you are serious about starting in the RE business. By doing it full time you are forcing yourself to 100% commitment since this is the only source of income you will have. And if you do it right, the business can kick off sooner than you think.

I am still in the process of learning, but now I am doing also, not just reading and watching and thinking. You see, it is like everything we learn in our life. Theoretical learning about some procedures and methods to do things give you an idea about it, but you really learn how to do it when you try yourself.

So, these are my two cents. :)

Good luck!!!

is there any way to get a list of main forms you need to have available when doing wholesales?

Thanks

Thanks Eric.

I will try that :)

Hi community,

I am trying to start my wholesale business and one of the things I have no clear is where to go to get the required paperwork like a purchase/sale contract or assignment contract.

Is this something I need to get from an attorney or itnks can be obtained online somewhere?

Thanks,

Al

Hi Christine,

I am on my way to my first deal and I started thinking about real estate at the end of last year.

I had the same question you are asking before. I am going to turn 50 this year Gods willing.  But I decided not to focus on the cons but on the pros and give it a shot.

I have been very careful making sure I get the right education and knowledge though because as Arlen said, we don't have much time to recuperate from a very costly mistake. But, yes, don't let age to stop you to pursuit your dreams.

Good luck and let us know how yet eou are doing with your business. BP is a great place to get educated and to push you in the right direction by the way.

Post: What Return Address to use?

Hi BP

I am new to RE investing.

I decided to start doing some wholesaling first and since Marketing is a big part of the wholesaling strategy, I am trying to make sure I understand as much as possible before starting any direct mail campaign.

My question is related to the return address we as investors should use in our direct mail campaigns.

Should new ivestors like me who don't have a company created yet and not a business address for that matter, do something like buying a PO Box at the local patost office and use that?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Al
