@ Adam Curry, I spoke to a couple of lenders that "says" they would do the deals. Nothing confirmed yet though. Do you have a contact that works with out of state investors ?

Jorge, it all depends on what your investment goals are. Cincinnati RE market doesn't appreciate like NY or California. But the cap rates are really attractive. If you haven't been to Ohio, you should go and visit and network with local RE brokers. That's how I got my deals.

Thanks Ryan I've tried several regional banks but they don't work with out of state owners. Haven't tried Key bank yet, but I'll give them a try.

Hi All,

I just purchased 2 properties (duplex and 4-plex) for cash about 2 month ago in Cincinnati and like to cash out refi to invest in bigger deals. I am in NY. Anyone know of any lenders/brokers that works with out of state owners ?

@Shawn Connors

@James Mc Ree

Thanks guys. I rather pay a higher purchase price than higher taxes since taxes are in perpetuity. With that said, I'm not sure why more home owners in Delco don't request reassessment of their property if they are able to lower the taxes. The city of Philadelphia has much more reasonable taxes.

the taxes in Delco is insane. Do you own anything in Delco ? I am looking at a deal there but the taxes scares me. Any plans by the county or the state  to reduce the school taxes ?
