@Bill Gulley a little off topic but I couldn't believe you had 16k+ posts!!!! Good stuff sir.

Hi,

I am definitely interesting in this product but wanted to know if any of my fellow Canadians have read it?

If so, is it something you would recommend to someone investing in Canada?

Cheers,

Hi @Roy N. are you able to open a Cross border account at a Canadian branch? TD for example. Or do you have to do it in person in the US?

@Corey Taber pretty cool stuff my man. Out of curiosity what do you want to do in the future?

I assume that your paper needs to include tons of statically data, graphs, parameters, etc. Use CMHC as a reference tool as this may be a resource that you can include in your submission.

Feel free to contact me if you want an investors perspective. Also give us updated on the topic.

Yes, this is the struggle every Canadian faces. Getting financing that still makes the numbers work. Interested in the result here. @Alvin Neal how is your experience in the Detroit market? Investing on the outskirts I assume?

@Account Closed welcome to BP. It seems to me that you are taking REI very serious since you already became a BP PRO member. Good for you for taking steps.

I agree with everyone here that said to spend your money wisely. These guru courses are good if you already have bigger pockets or some cash flow coming in from other assets or a steady full time job. Because once you spend all your money on their mentoring programs, and of course these courses can be 10000's of dollars, then what are you going to invest with? If you are a newbie and in a tough situation I would suggest to find a steady job. Edmonton and AB in general is a really hot job market right now. Maybe a job with a property management company, etc. Learn as much as you can. Sure attend seminars that are in the few 100's dollar if you think they will add value and give you a chance to network. But above all, understand that REI wealth comes slowly and steadily. It is not a get quick rick strategy.

There are other strategies of course such flipping, wholesaling which could can consider as a job.

Good luck to you!

@Roy N. @Gary McGowan alright, this is what I will do: Learn the basics through the forums and then ask you gentlemen the advanced questions. What I was originally thinking is to be referred to a book like Mark Loeffer's book on Lease Option, but I am assuming that such a book for VTB doesn't exist yet. Stay tuned and thank you.

@Gary McGowan that be awesome. Congrats on the job you are doing adding value to investors with your meet-ups. Really impressed and thank you for that.

I rather have all the info in one place, like a e-book, video, book, etc. Thanks for the tip @Steve Babiak , will do that.
