Thanks for the input everyone! @Bill S. I've read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, about to read it again. I've read lots of books on business, selling, persuasion, people, investing, etc., but I'm having a hard time finding a sales position considering I don't have a degree, which a lot of employers require. I've got experience in the real estate industry in the capacity of home inspecting and radon inspecting, but I know that a career in sales would be much more beneficial towards actually doing deals. Thank you for your response! If you'd ever like to connect, you know how to reach me!

Hi BP!

My name is Adam Rothweiler, and I just moved to the Cap Hill neighborhood in Denver, Colorado from St. Louis, Missouri.  I'm working as a server at the Bar Louie in Stapleton but, if my activity on this website didn't already tell you, that's not where I want my career to stay.

I'm looking for work in the real estate field.  I've interviewed with multiple companies and several investors, but none of them seemed to be trustworthy.  Lots of people wanting me to pedal expensive "get rich quick" investment educational programs on their behalf.  I'm searching for someone I can get my hands dirty with, someone who knows the ropes and is willing to help me learn the business while I help theirs.

I'm here to tell you all that I am very eager to get started in this business and have been educating myself for quite some time.  I'm simply stuck where lots of other would be investors are; getting started. Please feel free to reach out to me on here, or at my email listed on my profile, and hopefully we can reach an arrangement that'll be exactly what we both are looking for!

Thank you all for reading this thread, and I hope to hear from you soon!

@Bob Vollmer Yeah I hear all the time about how much people love Colorado, whether they're native or from out of state. It's probably not the best business decision to be throwing myself into such a remarkably hot market but I can't stay in STL much longer.

I'll absolutely have questions. And if you need any extra help flipping homes or Finding leads, I'd love to be an extra set of hands for you. Thanks for the reply and hopefully I'll see you around when I make my way out there!

@Holly Baum I'm beyond excited! I've visited Boulder and Winter Park but never Fort Collins. My cousin moved there some years ago and she says with my personality (and tattoo collection) id fit right in. Even went as far as to call me "Fort Collins poster boy" haha but I'll be there to grow myself and my business. It'll be tough but I'm diligent. I'm reaching out to anyone and everyone who I believe I can be of service to, so if you or anyone you know need assistance then I'll be around to help! Just get in touch! One way or another, let's connect. I'll be looking for likeminded people!

Thanks for the reply Holly!

if you haven't already, read Brandon's book "The Book on Investing in Real Estate with No and Low Money Down." It's got amazing informations. But I'll be looking for owner financing for sure. I've been trying to wholesale for some capital, but not adamantly.

How did you finance your first property? I'm looking for methods not using my own money. Seller financing may be my only option.

Hi FoCo!

I'm ready to make the move to Fort Collins soon and I'm a VERY ambitious investor.  I'm looking for mentors, industry related work, anything that'll help me get on my feet when I take the leap out there. Of course, I'll be of any service I can be to you as well.  If anyone would like to reach out, my information is on my page! Very much looking forward to meeting/working with you guys in beautiful Colorado.

@Justin Young Hey thanks a lot for the reply! Yeah, I'm DEFINITELY eager to take the leap, but I'm timid to do so prematurely. While I'm confident in what I do know, I'm very aware of how much I do not YET know about investing. I know a good mentor would help me tremendously, all while I'm able to help someone else.

Hope your successes are near and abundant! Happy investing, and "aloha" to you as well! 👊🏻

Hello BP!

I'm stuck.  Just like tons of fresh out of the gate investors, I'm struggling to get my foot in the door with my investing career.  I spend all of my waking hours analyzing deals, driving neighborhoods, reading forums and books, and talking to whoever will talk with me about real estate.  Even still, I'm having a hard time breaking through.

My interest is definitely in buy and hold investing, specifically small and large multifamily property.  I'd love to work closely with someone in the area who is doing this type of thing.  Any assistance I can give to you as an investor looking for a boots-on-the-ground type of assistant I'd be glad to provide.

I'm very familiar with Jefferson County and the pros/cons of investing down here.  I'm learning St. Louis more and more.

If there's anyone looking for an extra set of hands, please contact me. I'd love to be of help to you so I can learn and you can grow your business.
