Ok....I have a few people who would be interested in attending.  I agree, let's get it going asap. Set a date, place, time and let's lock it.

Good morning all:

I am trying to setup a meeting with like-minded investors in Lincoln NE. I have been investing for some years, but now looking to form partnerships to do multi-family properties. I'm in Lincoln NE, let's talk here and setup a meeting to get together and talk about what we love! REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT

Although it has been a while since this post - sadly, I lost! A huge toll came due...marriage. Thanks for all the good advices, which I did try and implement... what I'm trying to focus on now is to make sure that the implementation of solutions come early next time around.

I am also focusing toward a more fulfilling way to run my business and finding a niche to give back!

I agree with Steve Vaughan in the sense that I alos envy your capability of separating the business from the rest of your life and being able to stop. I am one that have stopped buying more than twice...and back to more again after a year or two.... it is an adiction!!!

I've been told before by other entrepreneurs that it is the curse.... I've always defended it as a blessing. But today....I may agree with the curse theory.... Unfortunatly I cannot unplug my brain from constantly thinking business... I enjoy talking and sharing my thoughts with everyone really.... but this morning my husband gave me a real hard time telling me that all I think about is money and how to make more and that he is not interested... I explained to him that I've been this way since I was a child...really ever since I can remember....and although I try to control my desire to explore and analize and love business.....i just cannot. I also tryed to explain that it is not about the money....it is a feeling I cannot explain...I wonder, are there others out there with this problem? Should I find a Psicologist?

What to do, what to do?

You may have read my previous posts (blogs) and know that my main goal was to stop growing and pay off debt, but now that we just got a little cash from a rent-to-own deal we did, I am questioning my next move. On the one hand, this cash can be put to good use and pay -down some debt. On the other hand, this cash can be used as a down payment for more investment properties. We have placed one of our rentals under the R.T.O. contract, which means that (eventually) we will be shorter in cash flow, unless we replace that sale with another property.

If for just a minute I would have made up my mind to continue to invest…. Should I continue with rental Single families? Should I try a small multi-units? OR…should I try a commercial real estate investment?

YES…I said commercial…. It is enticing….. but from research, I also know the vacancy rates are higher than residential. So many questions!

I am currently researching a car wash (self serve) commercial/business property… the numbers seem to make sense… but is a brand new territory for me.

Has anyone here been in this type of situation before? What did you do? Please comment!

Thanks for reading!
