I am looking for an investor friendly title company in Lake County, Indiana as well, watching the board.

An attorney I listened to on Zoom call said he maintains a FB group that is a database of title companies across the country that are more investor ffriendly and especially more open to subto / creative finance deals. I believe the group is called Real Estate Investor Legal... just search for it on Facebook and hopefully they'll know someone in your area.

 Thanks for the information.

 Hey Aaron,
I have worked with at least a dozen title companies in NWI. I would love to connect you with the right one. That being said, what makes a title company investor friendly?

I'm following this post because like David, I have great interest in starting a 5-6 room non-medical independent living facility. I have targeted locations in WI and IL; and can hire licensed care givers in both states. In running the extremely basic financials, the revenue line for each of my selected cities look good, but I need a great source for help.

I’m looking to purchase my first rental property and I have an opportunity for a 4 unit in Chicago. One of my major concerns is of doing any type of property in and around Chicago the unnerving cook county tax rate. I am being told in some places the new rates have hit 4x what they were in 2021.
