Sellers Asking For Money To Move Before We Buy The Home

This happens more often than I would like to admit but people always seem to get themselves in a bad position with money and not having enough of it when they need it.
This is what we came upon the other evening looking at a home in the small town of Bedford Virginia, the seller was asking 6500 for her home  which it needs a fair amount of work to finish but the good news is the owners were currently living in the home, so I proceeded to ask the seller the most important question you always want to ask and that was why are you selling? she told me her mother had health problems and moving to South Carolina to help her out and also during this long conversation I found out this young lady has a probation issue and she can't leave the state for the next couple of months until this is resolved.
Once I came back home that evening I noticed the young lady messaged me to call her that evening so I gave her a call and she told me they do not have the money to move but was planning on using the money from the sale of the home to move and then she asked me if I would pay her half the money upfront for her to move and pay the rest once she gets the title. THE ANSWER TO THIS IS ALWAYS A BIG HECK NO, no matter how much you feel sorry for people or want to help them you only give them money once they have vacated the home and have the title in their hand and don't forget to check the vin number on there home to make sure it matches the home. Please do not ever give people money upfront to buy a home unless its a small deposit of 100 bucks or something as a good faith deposit but nothing more.I felt bad for this young cause I understand hard times but under no circumstances to you give people money to buy the home before they move out or you risk them keeping your money.
If I was not clear, DO NOT EVER GIVE PEOPLE MONEY UPFRONT FOR MOVING EXPENSES PAST DUE LOT RENT OR ANY OTHER ISSUE THEY MAY HAVE OR YOU WILL RISK LOSING YOUR MONEY.
