Wholesaling houses w/o experience

Jose Garcia
Posted

Hey everyone, my name is Jose and I’m just starting out my wholesaling journey but it seems harder than what I thought it would be. I still don’t understand what equity I have to get on houses for investors or buyers to take it off my hands, and negotiating with sellers is stressful too, I want to get a good deal but they ask for much more.

I’m really motivated to change my life situation and be financially free, but I know that everything takes time and effort, any tips for a new wholesaler?

Jose, it can seem difficult when you first start out. Just stay positive, stay motivated, and keep learning.

I prefer houses that are free and clear with no mortgage. Sometimes they will have a mortgage though. It’s not necessarily a specific percentage of equity they need to have as much as it is whether or not the numbers make sense.

Check out a post I made yesterday. It should help you a lot with getting started and answering  a lot of questions you might have.
